Visit Chicago
The last project of my Text and Image course asked us to create something that incorporated three different design hierarchies. The first being, image focused with text as the secondary focal point, and vise versa for the next, the last was for both text and image to be evenly balanced in the design. With this open ended prompt, I chose to create three travel posters for my home city of Chicago. To make them look more realistic, and as if they are a part of an actually campaign, I added in the logo of a Chicago travel group called Choose Chicago. Each poster was designed to stand alone as a poster or ad in various cities, but be similar enough that people could recognize the campaign.
