Problem- For years large corporations have been scapegoating consumers. Making them believe that climate change is their issue. Consumers are taught that by recycling, buying organic foods or getting an electric car, they can save the world. Majority of the population cannot afford this, while large corporations can afford to change their manufacturing, carbon output, and various other shifts that make a huge difference. There is a lack of education among people, as to what they can do to change that. They are unaware that something as simple as being conscious as to what and where they buy, can shift consumer needs and in turn shift corporation’s priorities.
Solution- Form a branded guerrilla movement that encourages users to become climate activists. Through different platforms it will educate people as to what they can do to prevent climate change. Not through recycling and using metal straws, but through action, speaking up, marching, donating, and voting. The revolution can only continue to spread through users putting these things into action using the movements various branded collateral.
A revolutionary climate activist movement, rooted in user participation.
